Any recommendations for place to change strap in So Cal?

I wanted to know whether you guys have any good places to change strap on my brand new AP.

I am in Orange County area and I am super nervous that someone will scratch my brand new watch and have heard just too many horror stories about AD's scratching watches being careless.

There is traditional jewelers but I don't know whether they are trustworthy.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I am putting on the Grand Prix leather and Alcantara version so I hope it will look good.

Will post pics shortly.

I'm pretty sure TD is the only AD for AP in OC. There is also Westime in La Jolla and LA. You could also try Jewelers On Time in Newport. They are not an AD but they do a good amount of Rolex, AP and Patek sales and have certified watchmakers on staff. They also have an AP parts account.

Why dont you just buy a couple screwdrivers and learn to do it yourself? I've changed the straps on my APs dozens of times and never scratched any of them. Its really not that hard to do and you can even put a piece of tape on the case for extra protection.

I change between the GP strap and the rubber (depending how hot the weather is) on my 44mm Novelty every couple weeks. LOVE the GP straps!!!

I have scratched watches before when changing straps and vowed never to do it again.

Yeah just do it yourself. It's not that hard and much more convenient.
