Submariner bracelet white marks

Is there a coating on the bracelet from original? Mine after a refurb keeps going white after I wash it when it never used to? Thanks

No coating - maybe the person doing the refurb left some polishing paste/compound in the crevices of the bracelet.

Try using a soft brush, warm water and liquid soap to give a thorough cleaning - or have a jeweler do a steam cleaning of the links or an ultrasonic cleaning of them.

Sounds odd. Any pictures?
There is no "coating" on the bracelet.

The bracelet should be uncoated stainless steel. Unless your "refurb" service used some aftermarket "protection", perhaps it's the soap/cleaner you're using.

No polish was used, it's just like a strange white residue on the links and I've cleaned it twice with a brush since. What is the best way to get the bracelet back to original? What is used? It does not look quite the same, green scotch brite was used. Thanks

Ask the person who worked on your watch?

Go for an ultrasonic cleaning at a jewelers. That should do the trick.
