5508 reference

361,XXX serial from 1958

Excellent condition case with no major dings, dents, or deep scratches. Lugs have previously been polished, but bevels are still evident and they are even. Both the serial and reference numbers are intact and clearly visible.

Very unique aged dial which some will LOVE (like me) and others will dislike. It is original SWISS Chapter ring radium dial that has aged to a marble like pattern and colors. The gilt print is still easily visible along with silver depth rating. Chapter ring print is fully intact, the luminous material on the markers is also intact, not washed out. Awesome original gilt hands with white second hand match the overall look of the watch. Watch has received a NOS oem crystal during a recent service.

Original bezel is in excellent condition with newer insert with minor signs of wear and nice dark tritium pearl.

Caseback is excellent with 5508 and ll.1958 stamp on inside. Has an old service green sticker on outside.

The 1530 butterfly movement is in excellent shape. Runs strong and well within COSC with recent service about a year ago (sorry no receipts or documentation from that).

Bracelet is original, SWISS MADE, rivet, in excellent condition with 12 links and 64 ends. Light stretch from use. Stamped 4.57. Nice, crisp coronet on clasp.
