Best bang!
What do you guys think is the best bang for the buck between the 116610LV and the Patek Philippe nautilus 5711?
Comments guys and gals? |

I don't think I'd use the term 'bang for your buck' for a PP, or even a Rolex, but obviously you get a whole lot of watch for much less money with the sub.

Would say the Sub for me. Just don't like the Nautilus styling, so it would be a waste as I wouldn't wear it.

I wouldn't call a 25k steel watch bang for buck exactly, but then again, that is not why you buy a Nautilus in the first place.

You get what you pay for - in my opinion they are both fairly priced for what they are.
the 5711 is more sophisticated and l elegant and can be worn both casually and formally. The 116610LV is an awesome watch but the green could constrain the ability to wear it in all scenarios. So both have the same "bang for your buck" in my opinion. |

Both are are beautiful watches and well regarded by those in the know. Each is somewhat unique within their respective brand line up. Since the Sub LV is less expensive, I suppose that would be the best bang for the buck out of the two.

Hard to put the 2 up against each other.
I think both are a great value and will stand true in the long run. The 5711 is triple the price, but it is a watch that you can always get your $$ back out of if needed. Same can be said with the Sub LV. Just comes down to what you want to spend. Ideally, a great pair.. |

I think they're both very nice. Just don't know whether its worth paying 3 times the amount for a stainless Steel watch

The Sub LV with 16k + left in your pocket is a good feeling.
That said, I still plan on adding a Nautilus to my collection, so I guess I can forget about the "extra" $$ left over. |

Hard, if not impossible, to compare these two. They both have great value but definitely hold different niches in the watch world. You're going to get "bang for your buck" with either, it just depends on how many of those bucks you're willing to lay down...

Though "bang for buck" might not apply to both watches. I would say that the LV would mean a lot more watch for the money paid vs a 5711.
