2011 Sea-Dweller - Opinions please?
I have been offered the below Sea-Dweller in a deal for my 14060 and would just like to hear your opinions on it?
Please find pics attached and if you require any more then let me know and I will see what I can do. At the moment I am leaning towards a fake but I wouldn't trust my own judgement. Thanks |

A $9000 Deepsea for a $5000 Sub ? Too good to be true.

It first picture looks pretty shoddy to me, besides being an unbelievable deal.
In fact, on closer inspection, the watch is as fake as they come.

Wow... I'm certainly no expert, but If that's a fake, they're getting really good

Very fake...many of the hour markers are off center (especially the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock)...pointy A's on the lettering....and a crown on the dial that I could have painted better...

Pearl is off, markers are crap, and the dial is garbage... Maybe so is the story...

It was the pearl that put me off, looks way too small.
Also it was not a straight swap, I was planning on adding cash. Looks like my suspicions where right. Thanks guys. |

Good you let it pass as I also see three probs with it that would point to it being a replica.

What does it say under ROLEX on the dial? It sure doesn't look like the word oyster.

I managed to track the seller down and get his Ebay account where he is selling some TAG watches. I also looked at his feedback and he appears to be selling something looking similar to a Sub for £50. Maybe he tried his luck with me!
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/cotswaldlu...&_trksid=p3686 Here is my Sub he wanted to swap for: |

Luckily not. As soon as I received pictures I loaded them on here.
Anyone know if the TAG Heuer watches he is selling are fake? |

I also emailed him telling him I was reporting his Ebay page for fake goods and he sent me numerous emails begging me not to. He is apparently starting out in the watch business and bought the Rolex for £1000 GBP thinking it was real. Fool.
