i have seen 2 different looks of the new explorer II??

I have seen 2 different looks of the new explorer 2, one we have all seen several times and one with different hour and second hands and a different looking bezel, please help, is one a fake?

Yes. They are different. One is about 35 years older than the other.

The Explorer II has a long history...starting in the 70's. It's gone through at least 3 major changes in it's lifetime.

Exactly.
Do a search on Explorer 2 and you can find the entire history of this model.
