Can I pull this off? (Pam372) - opinions please
Hi all
I visited the panerai ad last weekend to try the 372...I love the look of the watch but of course was concerned about it's size. if the 390 were still available I'd probably go for that, since the 44mm luminor case is a good fit for me... so anyway: Here are a few pics I snapped off the watch on my wrist. Do you guys think I can pull it off? The lugs I think overhang slightly over the edges of my wrist. I'm 6' tall with thin lanky build... Thx for your opinions!! I think the watch over powers your wrist. I would go a little smaller maybe a 44mm. But don't let my opinion sway you from the watch. If you like go for it.

I see a nice Patek on that wrist:)
44mm might work or perhaps if you fitted the 372 a bit more snugly?

Looks a bit big to me as lugs are hanging over your wrist.

What's your wrist size? I'm a 6.5" and think I'm borderline for 47mm but I love it.

Great watch and if you're happy, that's fine. For me, it would be too much due to the lugs.

Too big, you can still find plenty of 390's on here and other sites sales sections.

Thanks guys.. I think my wrist is around 6.25"... very thin... Yeah it seemed big when I put it on. I am comfortable wearing the 44mm pams as the lugs don't overhang... Bit the 47mm seemed much larger even though it's only 3mm

Agree way to big, but the good thing is Panerai has plenty of other choices that look the same

honestly it is more how the watch feels
I have a 422 and have way gotten used to the size of the Panerai 47 mm case visually. I wear the 422 in rotation and abosolutely love it. 372 would be the same. I am happy to have a 44mm Lumnor and a Sub C also to switch things up. You mostly have to make sure you are happy with the feel of the watch. I think the 372/422 are two of the most unique out there today for any brand. BTW I had a 390 and honestly not nearly the watch the 372 is for the money. Good Luck.

In what areas do you find the 390 to be coming up short in? I know the movement is not in house and the dial text is just printed... But I do like the tobacco color and the 44mm luminor case.. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4 |

My wrist is about 6.75"
As I said in the first post it is as much about how you feel with the weight and size. I am great with it as it is not my only nice watch. I am not sure about the plexi and would only do the saphire crystal.

Not sure of your wrist size, but hate to be one of those folks who say too big, but it kind of is. I'd recommend either 44mm, or even better 42mm. I bought a PAM392 and I love it. Here is the pic of the same watch in 44 vs 42.
