IMO, no. However if you were to brush the PCL's, now that would dress down the watch.

The stick is definitely less dressy than the roman dial, though the watch is still dressy overall.

I don't think the stick dial dresses down the watch. In fact what you have (except for a blue dial) was my first choice for a Rolex (until I saw YM Blue Dial with red second-hand). Having said that I now lust for a DJII with Roman Numerals....or a DSSD, or an LV, or an Explorer II. I think I'm reading TRF too much....way too much.

i think case materials, band and polished metals set the tone of the watch. pcl's mean a little more formal etc.. imho. dial doesn't matter as much.
