I'm shopping... got a question
I've decided that I need another watch (don't we all?) and it's going to be a Yachtmaster, and it's going to be used. There aren't many for sale here and so I was looking on eBay, and one of the better ones that I ran across is a bit pricey, so I emailed the seller and we are negotiating a price.
My question is this: the seller claims that as his watch is a 2007 serial with the engraved rehaut, it is worth more than a comparable 2006 solely because of the rehaut. Now, I like the engraved rehaut look, my sub has it, but does the general community of Rolex buyers value it much if any more than the earlier watches? There is always a good chance that I'll tire of any watch and sell it later, which is why I always get boxes and papers when I buy them, and resale is always a consideration when I decide how much to spend. Opinions, thoughts, advice? Thanks, Michael
