Two Tone Datejust everyday watch?

Posted in another thread I'm a new Datejust owner. Is this something you would wear everyday?
Work - QA Engineer for software don't really come into contact with anything abrasive.
Outside of work - Soccer fields to watch my kids play.

I typically like to wear jeans and t-shirts but will sometimes rock a polo or button up.
Here is what it looks like.

I wore my DJII for an entire year as my daily wearer. My only complaint is that the gold makes it heavier than its SS counterpart. I prefer a light and comfy watch.

I would have bought the SS one but this was a gift so I can't really complain:)

The Newer DJ II are a bit heavier, but those older DJ's are very light and comfortable especially with the Jubilee.

Yes....that style DJ has been millions of peoples everyday watch for decades.

Thought maybe the gold would make it look to flashy for what I wear to work. I'm getting more and more used to it. I have my eye on a SS version for my next one.

The Datejust is one of the most versatile watches around, dress up or down you can wear it everyday everywhere. My electrician wears his to work everyday and when I met him at a mutual friend's wedding he was wearing it with his suit. Wear it and enjoy.

Congrats on the watch! And it is absolutely an everyday watch! I have one too and wear it most days.

If you're looking for a second one, maybe go with a sport model; that will give you a lot of versatility.

Perfect for everyday. My first DJ was exactly like yours and I wore it everyday (except for scuba diving) for years. After I wore it out I traded it for a similar one but with a blue dial. What wore out? - broken bracelet, cracked plastic crystal, and had quit running. The trade in value was 5 times what I paid for it new.

I think all SS is more neutral, but a DJ in general is the best daily wearer no matter the metal.

Insert drooling emoticon. You can dress these bad boys up or down. Great pic.

+1

And, as also previously stated, they are comfortable.

Many, many, many have worn the TT Jubilee DateJust 36mm as their daily driver. If you like looking at it - wear that bad boy!

I used to think that TT was a bit much for everyday use, but the more I see them the more they seem comfortable.

My dad has the exact same watch for everyday use. DJ's main strength is its versatility to work in most situations.

Enjoy it!
