Took the plunge.. put a deposit on a new BLK/BLUE GMT

Left my Tag on the driving range. She was good to me for last 15yrs or so... Decided to go a little bigger this time... Would love to hear some lost watch stories to make me feel better. Looks like I have about a 3-4 wk wait for the new watch and first Rolex!

Congrats on the new BLNR....you have to wait 3-4 weeks? That seems too long....I see them at the dealers now and the classified section here. Either way, be patient I guess.

Never lost a watch, but here's a pic to keep you going until yours is on your wrist.
Congrats in advance!

I lost my gold GMT in the sand for a few seconds while shooting a pic. It was literally washed over by surf and not visible. Scared the crap outta me.

A lost Tag is a great Rolex opportunity, a real blessing in disguise... until you lose your Rolex and replace it with an AP or PP.

I really want a BLNR. The Rolex Boutique had one a few weekends ago but it wasn't for sale. I swear they said 10 weeks or something.

Not a big fan of the colors in the bezels, but I must say this Black and Blue model is beautiful.

Are many people really seeing 10% off? I can get one fairly easily via AD, but at list.

Congrats!

I contacted one of the sellers on this forum yesterday - actually, I contacted several of them - made a good deal, wired the funds over at lunch, the watch was shipped a few hours later, arrived just before lunch and I'm wearing it now. Very smooth transaction.

Well ... it is a nice picture

Glad it was only lost it for a few seconds Mike.

powderjay, congrats on the purchase. Three to four weeks is about average for the black and blue at this time. I think mine took 3 weeks.
