The only Rolex Tudor Day Date made in Stainless steel...

For those like me who didn't know... Quite an interesting read.

I also saw an actual rolex day date stainless steel. They are very rare.

Tudor has made a number of ss Date + Day models over the years. Here's a 1970 Jumbo 7020/0.

Interesting read. But to me, I like my Day Date in precious metals.

cool article. I tried to find one of these Tudor's but they are hard to find in mint or near mint condition. if you are looking for that day date look but can't or don't want to spend the money for precious medals, this is the way to go for sure!

Over the past 4 years, I was lucky enough to acquire two of those gems in mint condition, sapphire crystal, solid link Tudor bracelet, real solid 18K gold on the two toned and from the final production era with just the Tudor markings on the caseback (not 'case by Rolex Geneva').

and,

And, being a stickler for the use of language...the Tudor model is labeled the DATE-DAY while the Rolex name is DAY-DATE...

I have the 94613. I believe the bezel is gold but the links are plated. This watch keeps surprisingly good time and date/day snap crisply at midnight. Unfortunately I have only worn this a couple times so she might be heading out the door soon.

There is a Rolex prototype SS DD out there somewhere. A European collector has it and if I remember correctly it didn't have a reference or serial # engraved on it.

Rare indeed as only two (2) were made.
