Steinhart Ocean 2 White
I had read some very positive views on this brand and I wanted to buy a new watch that would be something of a "beater" and a lot cheaper than most of my purchases.
I found the Steinhart website and didn't think their "homage" pieces were for me but this one caught my eye and at a bit over £400 delivered I took the plunge. a few photos: I have to say that I am very pleased with this one, 43mm without the crown, ETA 2824 movement, rubber coated leather strap 22mm between lugs, white stitching that complements the face, 300m water resistant, rotating bezel, date, hacking seconds and a sapphire bezel ring that illuminates blue. very good build for the money and keeping time to -2 seconds per day. the service was excellent too. hope this was of some interest to the members. Tim.

Congrats - bit of an IWC Aquatimer vibe with the bezel

How is the quality of the strap? I noticed you can opt for a bracelet on their website.

actually the strap is very good. the white stitching really complements the face of the watch and the rubberised coating gives a really smooth finish. it is quite thick and showing no signs of wear yet.

Very nice indeed! I purchased that same one with the bracelet. I think it looks sharper on leather. Enjoy!
