Which one??

What do you prefer SS or TT Submariner? I like them both but feel the TT may be too flashy, IDK....

Tough call there mate. I voted for SS but would love to get my hands on a TT Sub or GMT. One of my co-workers has a TT GMT and I absolutely drool every time I see it on his wrist. I don't think you could go wrong with either one. There always is that option to get one of each!

Go with your gut, it sounds like you've decided on the SS already.

Stainless for me but I can't lie there is some serious appeal in the TT blue sub. If you are comfortable with the extra flash, I can't fault you for getting it.

had a tt sub for a while and the flash is momentary .. Im currently only collecting ss rolex everytime I buy a tt after a couple of weeks I feel is it to flashy and I tell myself why do I want a tt divers watch and I have never even been past 30 ft of water ..they are both beautiful watches but in my opinion ss watches can be easily repaird in case they get scratched up ss I feel is a good metal for watches ..those are my 2 cents. if I would get another tt would be a yachtmaster tt or Daytona tt

Everyone here will say SS

I say go TT

Beautiful watch can dress up or down

And scratches the GOLD itch!!

And that "too flashy" thing is totally nonsense

Depends on model for me.

For a modern Sub or any SD - SS
Vintage Sub - Solid Gold

For everything else
DJ - TT
GMT - Solid Gold or TT, both work
Daytona - Solid Gold

In general no one else but me cares whats on my wrist so flashy or not doesn't bother me.

Either or both look great in my opinion. I don't think a TT watch too flashy.

For me personally, 2 tone is the worst option... it's neither here nor there and makes it seem like you could't go full gold. To me, gold is jewelry and I don't wear jewelry so anything but stainless is out for me.

Given TT or SS as a choice, I'd go stainless..

Too bad you didn't put solid gold in the list though, as that would be my pick of the bunch.

I'm actually currently saving for a solid gold GMT... What a watch.

My personal preference is the TT Sub, although I love the look of all the various Sub models. Submariner's are such iconic Rolexes, I love it!

I'm not a gold wearer but I do like the look of the TT on other people. But for me SS every time.

I think this is a very subjective choice. Really depend what speaks to you more. #nikhsub1 thinks the TT is the worst option, where I feel the TT is one of the best option...
SS, they are tones around, just about every corner you turn, someone would be spotted with one, having said, that too would be the easier option to flip if you are one of those who don't intent to keep the watch for long.
Whereas the TT, I feel it offers a balance between SS and full gold. It has probably only about 30% of gold touches, thus offers a touch of gold without being too bling/bling (imo), or too blended into the seas of SS.

So, vote goes to the TT.

I like both, it's really personal preference and there is a decent price difference between the two. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1385969885.813744.jpg

I agree! I just sold a TT GMT to a friend to get a ss Sea Dweller. My TT blue Sub is a keeper.

The only wrong choice is getting the one you don't like.

My preference is SS.

Two-tone is nice but stainless steel overall is better, more versatile and better resale.

I have both and enjoy either equally. However in your case it depends on what's already in your stable? Go TT to mix it up if you already have a few SS pieces. If this is your first then go SS.

I have owned both but either go all gold or stainless. Not a fan of the TT pieces. Two Stainless subs at the time.
