Icon5 One and a half LECs

I don't have a macro lens to show it, but I have just noticed something unusual in the crystal of my Exp II, 16570. Looking through a loupe I can see the LEC at 6 o'clock, and just below it is the top half of another LEC, i.e. the five prongs of the crown. The watch is definitely legit, as it has just come back from RSC. Anyone else got this on their crystal?

Thats eactly what I was thinking. I've seen the lume plots in the right lighting reflecting off the face, onto the crystal and off again on the rehaut to the point that it looks there are three of them in a reflection... and then again I guess it could be an anomoly. Adam try looking at several different angles and see if it is a reflection or not, let us know. Maybe you have that one in a million...

Expect you are seeing a slight optical illusion its because the LEC is laser-etched into the crystal its not on the crystal surface or underneath it. Its made up of hundreds of tiny dot like bubbles set at different heights throughout the crystal, (its so it doesn't create a weakness in the crystal)

Hmmm....it doesn't show up this morning in daylight, but was very vivid last night under the kitchen light. Must have been an illusion, sorry about that folks.

Yea, Adam I bet that it might have been some kind of crazy reflection. Even if it was actually there it wouldn't hurt anything, would have made the watch very unique as a matter of fact.

That's what I was thinking last night, Tim! Almost sad to see it gone this morning.

Adam, Were adult beverages involved when you were looking at it at night?

I've noticed similar artifacts due to my progressive contact lenses at times - especially under different lighting and angles of view.
