Most versatile leather strap watch??
Hello guys
I'm looking for a leather strap watch to be used mainly for work (dress code: suits and smart casual) that I can also sometimes wear during the weekend. I already have an AP 15400 (blue), reverso grande duo and a gmt master 2. Any recommendations? Budget is up to 15kUSD (£10,000). Apart from a portuguese automatic power reserve, I am struggling for ideas. Thanks in advance! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The multitude of straps combos available for Panerais is one of my favorite things about those watches. You can swap between croc, distressed leather, carbon fiber, etc and get a different t look every time. I have worn an 88 GMT under the exact conditions you describe for years...just not in the last few weeks since I picked up a Daytona :-)

I have and love the Portuguese. Get the 7 day, if you want something more dressy, JLC MUT. Not sure you can find a preowned Calatrava or Saxonia for that money, if so, those would be good options as well.
If want something more sporty, Cartier Santos 100 on gold and ss is really nice. If you are a PAM fan maybe you want to loo at the Radiomir line. Good luck...so many options |

Look at the Cellinis. Some nice models and you wouldn't be following the rest of the herd.

In addition to the IWC, maybe check out the Glashutte Senator, or Zenith EP.

Omega Aqua Tera on the strap. My favorite is the Golf model. Black face with green accents. Looks great on black strap or bracelet and easily changed. IWC Pilot comes to mind also.

I think R Cellini might be to dressy for it seems you are looking for. I would honestly stick with the IWC.
I am not sure Rolex makes what you are looking for. Other than the Daytona on leather |

OP said he wanted a Rolex, not another brand.
If you like a 36mm, go with a used DD. If you want a larger watch, maybe get a DJ2 with a white gold fluted bezel and throw a strap on it. |

RG DD looks great on an alligator strap...Stingray, too, if the color is right.
