Rubber B Review: Quality Straps - Quality Company

Overview: I've worn my Rubber B with the Tang Buckle everyday for over a year.

Fit: Strap fits tight against the watch seamlessly via solid inserts contained within the strap itself.

Finish: Black starts off matte but after a while it gets a nice patina that matches the watch beautifully.

Quality: Smooth thick "vulcanized rubber” provides superior resistance to damage and is flexible and strong.

Comfort: Excellent all-day comfort for any kind of activity.

Durability: Time will tell but after one year of daily wear the strap is in great condition - no defects, tears, smells, or allergic reactions.

Comparison: Omega SMP black rubber strap lasted only 1 year of constant use before tears through the tang holes required full replacement.

Company: They stand behind their products and guarantee. I have spoken with them on a couple of occasions and they have been been both helpful and prompt in their response and resolution of my concerns.

Conclusion: I would highly recommend RubberB! To Benjamin, Thank you!

Thanks for the long term review. I'm about to pull the trigger on one for my 16600. I really wanted to know how the band would hold up to a year of use.

I have had mine for a year as well, and I agree the strap is great. I originally bought it for my Sub 14060 but put it on my SD16600. It fits with no problem.
My go to strap.

although i will be parting with my dssd, i can say that the rubber-b is the best rubber strap i've ever worn on any watch. its hard to justify $250 for a rubber band but this one does get closer to accomplishing just that.

I haven't worn mine much but the fit is impeccable and it does seem like a quality piece.

Lig, you should wear it more! It looks awesome on that Daytona! I bet it feels great on the wrist.

Hi Sam -

Thanks for the kind words. It's definitely the go-to strap for the summer. I kind of like the bling of the PCLs though. <ducks>

It's a perfect complement to the Deep Sea - well done!

Thanks for all the pictures guys! I wanted a Rubber B for my SD because I spend soo much time in the Ocean.

I never realized/thought about a Rubber B on a Daytona -- amazing. Now you have me thinking about a Daytona!

I hate this place...too many enablers!

My 116528 Daytona is back on the bracelet now. Couldn't get a good fit with the Rubber Bs. Do you guys wear it tighter than the Oyster bracelet?

Yeah - I've been seriously thinking about getting one of these for my 216570. Great review. Did you have someone size it and put it on or did you do it yourself?

Thanks guys! I put the strap on myself. I found it easy to install and for me the RubberB is a perfect fit on the Daytona.

I think the Rubber B straps are great.

I've got the black one for the sub and have also just bought the Vulchramatic strap with the green stripe.

Still have the RubberB for DSSD... But now that I have added some volume to the wrist, I can't get it to fit right :(

Today picked up the glidelock version for the Sub C...

Would you happen to have a few more photos of the VulChromatic strap? I've been wondering what it looks like on the wrist.

Vulchromatic Rubber B on GMT II C

Just fitted this Rubber B strap to my GMT Ceramic. It's the one with the green highlight stripe to match the GMT hand. I think the look and feel are so much better than the original 'blingy' Rolex bracelet. Great product and customer service. They also tell me more stripe color options will be coming soon...

I find that I don't wear my black face SS Daytona much because of the polished steel bracelet, but I can't figure out if wearing it on a Rubber B will make it truly sportier given the polished lugs. It's hard to tell from pictures whether or not the Rubber B accomplishes this and to what extent. On the other hand, I can see getting one for my 1680 and/or EXP II (40mm).

Any thoughts on the sportiness of the Daytona with Rubber B?

Don't know about the Daytona, but I saw a white faced Explorer II with a white Rubber B, which looked stunning ( although not sure that's a look I could pull off myself! )
