Winder Setting for Daytona 116520?
I just purchased a new Daytona 116520 and own a Wolf Roadster winder. I have checked the Orbita database which indicates 800-950 rotations per day, CW.
I was just wondering what the consensus is on this... What are other Daytona owners setting their winders to? Also, do you wind it manually, by hand, at all before placing in your winder? Thanks in advance! |

You don't need a winder for a Daytona. It has no date either as u know. It does have a 72 hour power reserve on a full wind. Just give it a full 60 turns or so every three days if your not wearing it. It's a bonding experience.

Hahah, I never thought of it that way...I look forward to bonding with this one for years:)
Is a full turn a true FULL turn? Rolex crown rightside up to crown rightside up? As my collection grows, the winder is appealing just so I can "set them and forget them" for a few days at a time... |

I've got many watches and just wind them as I wear them. I'd only use a winder for a complicated piece that's difficult to set.

Thanks for the replies. Really appreciate it!
I hadn't realized that you could wind the Daytona either direction. My only question is that the Orbita database does reference the 4130 movement specifically...and it's calling for CW winding...? |
