Issues and can't really deicide...

I will make only ONE puchase this year, and i had first in mind to buy AP bumble bee, which i have been thinking of for two years..but then i came a cross a RO PC (with leap year indicator) Now, i have some mad problems if i shall buy the PC or stick to the BB.

I have a ROC panda today along with a white face ROO RC.

SO I'm really familiar with the fitting, and imo have the ROC one of the best fitting for my wrist.

So horological friends. What would you choose? I need advices..

PC for me all day, anyday. The Bumblebee is a great looking watch but not as nice to me as a complicated timepiece. Besides, I think it would look great in your collection.

Okey. Will the PC be a watch that stands out or will it become sober and not that huge eyecathing? I dont want to stand out.

It's not going to stand out to 99.999999% of the population as anything other than 'a watch'.

It is certainly going to stand out less than the black and yellow bumblebee!

The AP PC even in SS with a white dial can hardly be called 'understated' dandy.
It has more info on the dial than a QANTAS jet.

I see where you are heading with it :D

Tbh with you guys in here, for like 10 years i got mugged and beaten pretty much over a breitling CM EVO in S/S and Mop dial (Thanks Jesus i had it insured) . I´ve learn my lesson the hard way and don´t use too expensive pieces in public or pieces that draws too much attention.

Thats whats bather me a bit, but for the BB sure it draws attention, but for someone that don't know shit bout watches would i think would believe that its a pretty cheap watch?

I'd say that common sense is much more important than the type of watch you wear in those situations. If you feel like you're going somehwere where such an incident can happen don't bring a watch with you or something cheap, whether they know what it is or not you can get mugged everywhere for everything.

The Bumblebee may stand out more for the general public than the PC but in the end it depends on what you personally prefer. After all, it's your money and you are the one who will wear the watch.

Yes i was choosing watch wisely in my book, was traveling by bus from a business meeting, this was pre drivers license.

Stayed in a busstop for 15 minutes at 20:00 in the spring/summer.

Then there was a chap who asked me for fire, then everything when fast.

My experience from this and forward, never tell or show anyone anything.
