gmt second time zone hand
Hiya all
Just purchased a gmt master 2 blnr, but have noticed that the blue 2nd time zone hand is not keeping up to time, it seems to be running slow by at least 4-5 hours, could this be a defect in the watch, it is not a brand new watch but preowned, but still under Rolex warranty, any ideas? Many thanks Ken |

.
By design Gmt hand runs slower than hour hand. Gmt hand make one turn every 24h , hour hand make 2 turns in the same period. You read gmt hour on the bezel not the dial. |

Are you saying that the GMT hand is not in sync with the hour hand?

The GMT is cool. It can even be used as a compass.

Great watch; glad that you got it sorted out..
The 24 hr hand is always read off the outer bezel, never off the inner dial which it has no correlation to..

And I'm guessing the problem was you and not the watch?
The GMT complication is the coolest function ever put into a wristwatch.

Your not the first to think that. Unfortunately there was a post here a few months back where the AD told him wrong.
