Easy.

I was born in 1953 so it would have to be the original Submariner.

5512 ,,, 61 , but working on a 5510 at the moment , just so i can say ,,,, well its older than me and still working ,, maybe not a good omen ,, come to think of it ,a reminder that ill have to keep working too , but i still like the idea of wearing daily a watch thats been around longer than me ,,,,,, and dare i say it ,,, will probably still be working when im gone too.

I'm not sure. What was cool in 62? 5513 Sub? Probably out of my price range.

What happens if you have a nice uncle who got you a watch the year you were born and laid it down NIB for your 21st? Would it all be dry and manky inside having not been used? Would a service get it going?
