Milgauss GV

What do you guy's think about a milgauss GV for everyday wear? I seen it at AD and it kind of called to me. I'm retired so no real issue about damage, just sitting around the pool, and playing some golf, any thoughts?

It's a Rolex. That's about sums it up.

It's not made of glass, it will do everything you ask of it for the rest of your life

Why not? I wear mine to work - desk job. I also wear it with polo shirts etc. when weather permits. It goes casual pretty well - despite the PCLs. I often see pics of Rolex "Ambassadors" - usually some golf pro - wearing a GV. I am not a fan of golf, but these folks look good wearing the watch.

I hope you enjoy the GV. I was not a fan at first...but that sliver of green, at the right angles, really sets off the watch. I also like the thicker case / weight of the watch.

It's a great everyday watch. It is a little top heavy so your golf score and wrist might suffer abit.

Do it. You don't need a date function since you're retired, and the green glass will look great in the sun while you're by the pool.

Its only been a week but loving it. I can envision myself still sporting the milgauss gv well into my retirement age. A fun watch.

Always have loved the black Milgauss. Both non/GV models.

I say wear what you like whenever you want regardless of dress or the occasion. The GV is a great everyday watch!

It's my favorite go-to watch in my collection. It works for all occasions. I feel great every time it's on my wrist.

Whilst I don't wear it every day, it certainly can be. Only issue is lack of date at a quick glance but you have a phone...

It is a wrist watch and a beautiful one at that.

Of course it could be worn everyday.

Sorry or a potentially stupid question; why "when weather permits"? what sort of weather needs to be avoided?

Very chunky and well suited for the long haul. I love it. However, one sales guy at a chain AD criticized me for wearing it with shorts. But, that's T for you.
