Has anyone seen a random serial 16610 2012 warranty card
Hi guys
I have recently bought a 16610 and was very suprised to see it's dated 18/08/2012... I have had the watch checked out and all is clear. Has anyone seen one of these models with such a late date and with a random serial? Yours thoughts are much appreciated See pics attached |

Random serials started to appear from the latter part of 2010 till present time same for the single letter G serials and warranty is dated when watch is sold..

Great thanks for the input.
So it's not unusual for it to be dated late 2012, 4 years after ceramic models where released. Are there areas with lots of these kicking about or just random luck ? |

The SS model didn't come out until 2010 at Basel and so weren't really on the market fully until well into 2011. So, it isn't odd at all to still see plenty of 16610's in the display case and new into 2012 or later..

the date on the warranty card and the serial number have very little in common. One has to do with the date of purchase.........the other, has to do with a time period (could be a long one) as to when the case was manufactured
