Visit to HQ Milton - Photos

Yesterday I finally had the opportunity to stop by HQ Milton. I've been trying to sync up with Jacek everytime I'm in San Francisco and yesterday worked for us mutually.

The store is located in an unexpected part of the city, but a true hidden gem. He also noted they recently remodeled and the store is appointed really well. It was great getting to see a small part of his offering. It goes unsaid that it is an awesome shop with amazing pieces. Thought I'd share a few that some members would enjoy. Notable are the Paul Newman and a Chocolate Double Red.

Excuse the quality as these are all taken on my iPhone.

Thanks again for having me in Jacek!

HQM has a great reputation. They've also been getting good press including this article:

Been there myself. Went to visit while on a business trip. Scott was there. Unexpected part of town indeed, but when you get buzzed in and go up the marble stairs, you are in for the loss of your savings account

Jacek and Scott have all the nice toys. I've purchased 3 watches from Jacek now and helped 2 different friends buy from him. He's a class act.

Thanks for the post. My wife and I missed Jacek when we were there a year ago but met Scott. Such a jewel on Mission Street. We later went to Foreign Cinema for a wonderful meal that topped off our afternoon and evening on Mission. Thanks HQ Milton!!

My pleasure! Also, I believe this Hodinkee article has already been posted, but in case you missed it:

I'm amazed at the quality and variety of their inventory. A close friend of mine in SF knows Jacek well, so I hope to visit them sometime soon.

Agreed, this is the place to go for real vintage pieces which have been worn and enjoyed over the years. It seems they do their best to preserve the original parts, finish and patina. As opposed to changing everything out and making them sparkle and shine like new.

Great pictures, thanks for sharing! I've bought a couple from Jacek and been totally pleased. Never been to HQ Milton, though. Don't know if I could handle it! I'd have to check into rehab if I ever did.
