RO chrono Or WG Sub

I have a special birthday coming up (30) and I'm looking for a timeless piece that will age well, the main contenders are the WG Sub and the Royal Oak Chrono 41mm steel 26320 with white dial





I love both pieces and hope to one day own both - although for now I'm leaning towards the AP

I have a few special pieces (ROO & RG SkyDweller) but I'm looking for something semi-discreet that can be worn in meetings. It must also be a piece that will not date as I will keep it forever

I have also considered the IWC Porto perpetual but it may be too similar a style of occasion watch to the SkyD

Any help or thoughts would be appreciated!
