I would assume the only reason for the appreciation in value of his watch collection is because he keeps buying more!

The depreciation on some of those would be horrific!

Was it really necessary to start two threads on this subject?

For those who are interested, here's the link to the other identical thread: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=336799

Definitely love his cars selection!

As for the watches, I respect him earning them himself.

The Bugatti Veyron is FANTASTIC! I would love to test drive one but would not buy one considering all the other cars available for a lot less. I like his taste in cars especially that they are all white. Watches, not so much.

The RM is the only non-monstrosity of the lot (although the non-diamond gold ROO is just about acceptable).

Re the cars, a white Macca F1, F40, F50, 959, CGT and Zonda would be far more impressive!

The RM is the only one I would remotely consider. Cars are nice too but a little unimaginative and predictable. Definitely likes white.

Takes a lot of punches to the head to think those watches are attractive. As others have said, that RM would work for me and perhaps that RG Roo, but that''s about it. Must be nice to have those resources at his disposal, he just needs better "people" to help him make good decisions. No PP in the lot! Surely he could have found a PP dipped in gold and sprinkled with diamonds.

Wow that's heavy. I'd agree not a fan of most of the watches, way too many diamonds and stones, gorgeous cars though..

No taste for the watches.

As for cars, his "taste" is built upon collection of the most expensive cars available. not really taste but financial prowess.
