Agree on the Millenary line generally, but I find the complication very interesting - did AP do this before Urwerk?

I am going to look at it in the flesh tomorrow Ben; they also have a RO Concept Tourbillon and some juicy Pateks - 5004J and A, plus a 5207P……..

The Star Wheel definitely looks interesting. AP came out with this complication in 1991, should be way before the birth of Urwerk.
More info here: http://www.thepurists.com/jpg/dispcomp/apswjub.html I've handled one some 2 years ago and was intrigued. That was a 36mm round case watch in RG. The movement was really nice to look at. I have yet to see one in Millenary case in real life but I kind of like the design. Let us know your thoughts after seeing it in person! |

Thanks Wayne, will report back later today. If it was platinum or white gold, I would definitely be keen, just on rarity alone - reserve is very low.........

I think it looks quite nice to be honest but I prefer the one in Wayne's post. I don't think it would be a purchase I'd make unless I had quite a few other AP's though.

In the flesh it was a little underwhelming I have to say; I can't quite put my finger on why, although the fact it was next to a 5004A may have something to do with it!
Having that, I may still bid if the price is right! |

Got yourself anything Roger? Don't worry, I don't think your fiancee will know it from here.
