Banned for reporting Hackers/Scammers?

So, I just went to log onto W*S and found out I've been banned. No pm, no email, no warning. I have primarily been a lurker/reader over there, would occasionally post a watch or strap for sale but rarely posted otherwise.

A week or so ago, I was communicating with user w******h regarding a Rolex LV at a price too good to be true. The exchange mostly took place via email after the initial contact via pm. But I very soon grew suspicious that this person was trying to pull a scam.

The email listed in the ad was one character different from the email address the the user had listed in dozens of previous ads. When I asked about that, I was told that they forgot their password to that account. I was told the watch was in New Jersey, but then was told it was in Arizona with her husband. Then she said she was in Arizona too. Gave me a bank account to wire funds to a bank in New York, then gave me an Arizona bank when I inquired about the address for the New York bank. Gave me a personal address in Arizona, when I google mapped it I found it was a trailer park. Just super shady.

When I questioned the seller's integrity, I shortly thereafter received 2 unsolicited pms from other members claiming to have completed deals with w*******h. Very suspicious pms. I pm'd one of the members back and he responded saying he didn't write that pm and had no idea what I was talking about. I suggested to him that his account had been hacked and to contact the mods. The name this person gave me was Chioresca Anatolie and her husband David Boettger. The bank wire she initially asked me to send to the New York bank was to Irina Smirnoff. Then she told me to wire funds to David Boettger in Arizona.

I tried to report the whole thing via pm to the site mod/owner, with no response. So I started a thread in the general discussion forum saying that I believe some accounts have been hacked and briefly described what had happened. I asked for a mod to contact me. None did.

Then log in about a week later (today) to find I've been banned. For what? I just wanted to alert the mods to what was going on. There were 3 accounts that I had good evidence to suggest were hacked. Hopefully no one got scammed or ripped off. The whole thing is really too bad.

And I want to add that the seller's account was several years old and had listed several watches over the years.

Not at all. He's as modest and humble as they come. Just because we have diametrically opposing views on the value of watch winders doesn't mean he isn't modest.
