very nice read. true question is... did they gift them a rolex? usually in this kind of visits we'd leave with cheap pens and note pads (end up left in the hotel room ;/).

Wow, thanks for posting. Incredible read. I may be gullible or crazy but man do I love me some Rolex. I'm completely obsessed, there's not one model that I really don't like. And then there's the history that comes with a vintage piece and all that legacy behind it.

Jake is a cool guy, I ran into him at a Panerai event and we swapped watches so I could try on his 372 and he checked out my BLNR.

Actually the problem with the apple watch is the technology to make the watch will always be outdated in 2-3 years. This means that the apple watch will not hold its value. Old technology gets cheaper with time. Rolex watches tend to hold or increase in value. A watch basic function is to tell time and this will never change.
