Got my BLNR two weeks ago and have absolutely loved this thing! Can't keep my eyes off of it!
Question for the board though....I will lay it down flat on my dresser and leave it for a day, sometimes picking it up and shaking it a little, and it will stop working? I know this is a mechanical watch that works on movement...but just wandering, do all Rolex's go down this fast? I thought they would last a couple of days without movement.

Works great once you re set it and put it on!

It will last for 42 hours after its fully wound from the crown (40x)

Should have a power reserve of 36-48hrs after a full 40 turn wind.

Give the crown a full 40+ turns, don't worry you can't overwind it.

The rotor maintains the power reserve. You still have to wind it.

Depends on how much you move around when you wear it (and how often you wear it obviously). If you wear it all the time it should always work without you having to manually wind it. As you seem to be wearing it on and off I would recommend you give it "a handjob" (no pun intended - English is not my main language) now and then.

I've read a previous thread that said you'd have to be really sedentary for the reserve to go down - then one day I looked at my wrist and noticed my Sub has stopped. I think I work at my desk too much.

My sub seems to last about 36 hours on reserve power. I don't think it's lasted a full weekend just sitting.

In the year I have had my sub I have never had to wind it, I guess I'm just doing it right
