Daytona Polished SS Removal
Has anyone ever removed the polished finish on the center links and/or the bezel on SS Daytona? I would be love to see pictures if anyone has them.
Thanks |

Many people have brushed the PCLs. Some with professional brush pens and others with just a scotchbrite.

I'm assuming the current SS Daytona would look much more like a vintage Daytona if the polished parts were brushed.

Easy to do & looks good.
A bit more difficult to reverse & will likely negatively effect resale.

First time seeing a modern daytona with brushed PCLs....Larry, looks like you left the lugs high polished though right?

To me, PCL's look out of place on any watch that was originally designed as a tool. Just my opinion.

On the spectrum of Rolex bling, PCLs barely register on the scale. I like them on my BLNR, and think it dresses the watch up.

wondering -- how much would a separate bracelet cost. supposing you wanted to keep the original PCL and have the brushed one as well.

You are correct about the bezels.. When all the brushing was done it had a DLC coated bezel now it has a Custom Black Acrylic Bezel..
