Ahhhh Montblanc

The other day I had this insane notion I was going to sell my Legrand Ballpoint. I can only chuck it up to a case of the dumba**! I have since then had my pen engraved and bought a new zipper type single pen case and thought I'd share them with the forum. My wife wasn't all that pleased with the cases price tag but wow what a nice piece. I'm certainly not doing any bragging as I know there are lots of nice pens out there but I'm quite proud of my one, and it goes great with my watch.

Nice!

I have a few MB pen but I'm done buying them. Left a Star Walker in a coffee shop the other day and it broke my heart.

The MB brand has certainly evolved and expanded. I always liked their leather goods and of course pens but will never buy a watch.
Maybe.

I like their pens. I have a few of them. What I don't like is that the refill runs out quickly, and they are expensive.

I Like the pen, but I love the watch! Just looks incredible with the black strap with white stitching.

Thank you sir! I recently put it back into its oyster band though. It deserves it's presence!

Richard, very nice indeed...Sweet!!!

Enjoy your pen, matching leather case and of course your fantastic watch...just don't decide to start buying Fountain pens(and of course the selection of Nibs) or your Lady may stop talking to you altogether!!!

That's funny you say that. This was my jeweler's first Mont Blanc engraving. I think he did good.

Glad I happened upon this thread... I was recently presented with what I believe to be a MB 164 (Classique bp, right?) and it came with an engraving voucher. I was wondering if anyone knew the difference between engraving the cap for a "left-handed writer" and a "right-handed writer" - they ask.

I assume the righty engraving would start from the middle of the pen and go toward the top while the left engraving would start at the top and go toward the middle of the pen.

Does that sound correct?

Is this a "lefty" engraving? I was trying to figure out the difference between the left-handed engravement and the right-handed ones that Mont Blanc does.
