Ten year old 16710 never worn, service?

Just wondering if I buy this watch will I then have to fork out for a service? I'm just considering the lubrication side of things. Thanks for any info.

Lubricants can be broken down over time regardless of the watches use.

I would highly suggest having the movement serviced to avoid any parts from pre maturely wearing and and possibly saving you $$$$ down the road

I would buy it if the price is right.
I wouldn't service it - its new.
Lubricant breakdown is not an issue IMO.

I agree. If it hasn't been worn or run much it wouldn't need a service. Time is not usually as big a factor for any machinery lube needs as use.

A pressure check would definitely be in order..

(sometimes you need to be quick when a good deal on a good watch comes your way) !!
