Would you do this trade?

I have a new Speedmaster Moonwatch and thinking of trading it for a new Tudor Blackbay . Already have a Pelagos. Would you do that trade?

OMEGA will always command a higher preimum than TUDOR.

No. You will eventually regret letting the Speedmaster go.

I would not. The BB is priced in a place that's easier to obtain... I had the BB and the affair didn't last very long.

New Speedys and new Blackbays are both current models, so figuring out the cash value is fairly easy. Depending upon the reference, the values may be about the same or slightly tipped in favor of the Speedy.

A "standard" speedmaster professional 3570.50.00 has a higher MSRP but the street value are roughly the same right now -- the Speedy having been settled in for several years and the BB commanding a bit of a scarcity premium.

Both are replaceable but in terms of your collection I'm not sure I'd go from a diver and a chrono to two divers, depending on what else you've got.
