Redwing boots and my Black Bay

Just did a little tender loving care to my work boots and thought my Black Bay fit right in with my Redwing boots!

Aloha my friends! I trust everyone is having a great Sunday watching the games. Some big upsets today!

Yep, my man. Red Wing and Rolex. Both pretty much go anywhere and with anything. Bombproof for life, baby! I'll post my watch with the wings when I get home. Two things that will never wear out or be uncool.

Watches and Boots two of my favorite passions. Redwing makes a great boot, and that Tudor is Killer!!!

My 1907 Red Wings and the GMT BLNR, as promised. Both are 5 months old. Each will earn their marks and scars through use and abuse. They will also both be better for it in 5 years. The more broken in, the more cool..... Kind of like your favorite pair of jeans. Neither will ever go out of style.

Jocke,
If you are asking me if that is engine oil. The answer is no. I just first used saddle soap to clean my boots and then applied red wing oil on those baby's to give them some love. Then a (2) coats of wet proof!

My two pairs. The black ones are almost 30 years old. Been resoled numerous times and the leather on the inside redone. Great memories with those boots from work.

All your ducks in a row. Love the collection. How has the Dark Cherry been with your outfit? I've been debating between Black and Dark Cherry. I know that that black is easier to match. But then again. I am wearing a LV Hulk. =/

My favorite pair I had re-soled 5 times. I bought those boots when I was a young buck of 19 yrs. old. Lasted me until I was 33 yrs. old! Finally they said no more cannot re-sole your boots since there was nothing left to stich on to for the sole. I hated to throw them away. Built many a building with those boots.

Personally I like the Dark Cherry more. They work with jeans just fine, and really that's all I wear either one with. I picked up a belt from BALL AND BUCK that goes real well with the Dark Cherry.

http://ballandbuck.com/collections/o...youll-ever-buy

It's the one they call Latigo.

Wow! My Red Wings only last about 5000 hours of wear time.

It's not the soles, upper leather takes a serious beating from iron and oil.

Yeah, they are very abused.

I ordered a new pair recently, too, should last until Christmas 2016.

My uppers lasted due to me being anal and every few months saddle soap and oil them down and then water proof the buggars. Not to say that the last resoling the leather did not leak too much since she was about on the last thread.
