Looks like its not easy to answer. Lets say you could afford both but money is something you try to run wisely even if sometimes when you love you don't count !

Buy a 16600 and a 14060 for the price of an 116600. To me that makes sense in a new math sort of way. Put that in your Google and search it. But in truth a 116600 from a reliable seller comes close to the price you're quoting for a 16600.

I'm not sure $6k would but the 16600 I'd like. Correct and complete sets seem very hard to come by.

The new 116600 will bring attention back to the 16600 as they are reviving a discontinuted model. The demand increase should help make them more saught after and I would jump at getting the 16600

This is tough.... I need more time before choosing. But, by the time it will be possible to try the new SD, I would imagine the old will have increased in price by a good bit. Might make sense to grab the 16600 now?

I would take the 1665 or the 16600 plus $4k cash for the next sub, but that's just me. I have to admit, the new SD is very nice.

If money isn't an issue, I'd gladly take both, but if I had to chose one, it would be the 116600. The new clasps and bracelets are a big improvement over the older ones. I'm also a big fan of the maxi dial.

The sub to sub-c had a large price hike, so its in line.

Also keep in mind Rolex is planning a price hike on all watches, so do not be surprised if the $8500 sub-c became a $9500 sub-c and the SDc will just be $500-$1000 more.

That being said, if I had the funds available for such a watch, I would no doubt go for the new ceramic. It is easily my new favorite dive watch.
