Weight of Gold/Platinum

Considering a Daytona in gold (maybe platinum?). Curious if anyone who has them runs into challenges using a computer with them on because of the weight. Have tried on at the AD- but not worn one for stretches during the day and all my other watches are SS. Thanks.

Gold (have not owned a platinum watch but certainly handled/tried a few) is much heavier than SS and platinum is heavier than gold. A real pleasure to wear a gold watch and I have not encountered any issues with desk work. Now, my gardening work is a different story!

I have multiple platinum watches including Daytona as well as multiple gold ones. I am at desk most of day and in front of computer. I have zero issues or challenges with them except sometimes I catch myself staring at my wrist and productivity drops.

Unless you have toothpicks for arms you'll be just fine. Gold has weight over steel but it's not an inconvenience

As long as you don't wear two at a time you should be safe.

Here you go Thomas.
