Besides the weight and hardness, do SS, WG, PT look the same?

I've never held a WG or PT model; only drooled over everyone's beautiful pics.

To the untrained, non-WIS eye, without physically handling them, can be they be told apart? TIA.

Would love to own a PT DD ice blue roman dial oneday if I could get past having such an expensive piece on my wrist.
