Explorer bracelet swap question

Own the explorer 114270, V-series and have tons of scratches on my bracelet. Now as of late I'm all about my Polar explorer 16570 with a clean bracelet, I'd rather swap out my already scratched one so I don't ruin both. The lug width is 20mm on both, can I easily swap the bracelets? Thanks all

As you have both, why not give it a try?

The end links will be slightly "off" as one case is 39mm and the other 40mm...
But shouldn't offend any but the most severely OCD WISes

The 114270 case is 36mm.

Thanks - I was sloppy in my reading. So the gaps will be even more noticeable.

No gaps; both have 20mm lug spacing...

My point is about the gap where the radius of the smaller case will be different than the 40mm case.

I know they are both 20mm lug width.

Doesn't matter; it's the lug spacing that counts...

thanks guys for responding, I'll stop by the AD probably later this week and try it out. I know what you mean about changing it myself AND I would but my 114270 explorer doesn't have lugs and makes me nervous. All i know is why scratch the heck out of two bracelets if I could keep ruining my current one :)

In the end the polar becomes my daily beater, my explorer needs a jubilee if I can find one so special occasions.

NYLON I like, but the rubber orange bracelets on the polar is a great summertime look in NYC I think....but i'm not really that stylish so who knows

I think having a poor end link fit is going to create accelerated wear on the end links and case. It's a much better idea to simply have your bracelet brushed every so often if it bothers you.

I was going to suggest this as well; it's so easy to do yourself, you will have the correct bracelet and it will cost you nothing... talk about win-win-win!
