First Baby Scratch On My New SubC Date
Well, it was bound to happen. After 6 weeks, I finally got a little, baby scratch on the clasp. Maybe a Scotch Brite pad? I dunno. I know I shouldn't sweat it, but it's still annoying.

Send it to me. Scratches are a moot point as far as I'm concerned.

Must admit, I spit a little coffee at the computer screen when I read ^^this^^. Next time please forewarn if you plan to be this funny this early in the am. Good one.
As to the OP: Just like on a new car...the first scratch is quite worrisome, the next less so... and so on. It is built like a tank, so wear the piss out of it and enjoy. If you polish it every time it gets a little scratch, in a few years there won't be enough metal left to wear. |

Life goes on! Clasps will get scratched, no matter what. I'd wait on the scotchbrite...

A baby scratch on the clasp is no biggie. Don't worry about that.

Excellent advice, the first one is always the toughest. There will be many more to follow.
