It is a helicopter used by The Royal Navy and Royal Air Force for many years and also used specifically as a Search & Rescue Helicopter around the coasts & mountains of the UK.

Had many hours of fun buzzing around in them

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westland_Sea_King

I always thought this special edition was genuine

Hi there,
Although I have nothing but respect for the people who fly them and serve their country, you have to understand this is not believed to be a special edition.

But now that I try to explain why it's not (just engraved case back and distributed to people who served there) I wonder if once they said the same about the -Fuerza Armada Peru- Daytona's? Or MN Tudors?

A scary old, very old, extremely old helicopter.

Cool watch though.

You think there's a machine shop in someone's basement that keep churning out these case backs?

Why bring this back up again? I think it is a sore subject and doesn't need to be revisited.
