my SS-TOG from Switzerland
Hi,
After I stayed in this forum for a while.I have a chance to go to Switzerland 8-15 March 2008. I have go to many shop in Swiss,in Lucern-Interlaken-St.moritz-Lugano. Finally I had got my Rolex in Davos(last place for me in this trip)I can not find M-series TOG. I got D-series SS-TOG as picture(D894xxx,bracelet=E03) and TT-DJ(M117xxx,bracelet=E06) as a gift for my Dad. SS-TOG= 7100CHF-6% -7.6%VAT TT-DJ(jubilee bracelet, diamond hours marker)= 10900CHF-6% -7.6%VAT This is a new price and I have not got a good deal,I think. However many thanks to all of your for my knowledge from this forum. I still looking for all-gold DJ for my Dad as he want, and I will use his TT-DJ. (sorry for my bad english) kiat Last edited by kiat; 16 March 2008 at 03:06 PM.. Reason: wrong spelling |

Welcome kiat to the forum.
Don't worry about the 'D' serial series as I just purchased a TOG and it too has a 'D' serial (dealer stated he had the watch less than 6 mos). Since the TOG's are not <<yet>> that popular, it's going to be a while before we see 'M' series IMHO. Your bracelet 'assembly' code would indicate that the watch was put together in March '07 and not the 'case date' of 2005. I'm sure you also had the 'clear' caseback sticker and CCC style warranty. What do other members think about this point/question? Enjoy the TOG, it really "sings". |
