Hello learned members. Why where some bracelets stamped JUBILEE 2 TONE BRACELET CLASP STAMPED 14K TRIM - USA? yet other bands of the same type and era do not.

this is a usa oval link bracelet made is the usa due to taxes placed on imports on gold into the usa, rolex sent the heads only and the bands were added int he usa at the time to save on these taxes, it is totally legit made by jb champion, rolex made bracelets via C and I in the usa also, bands were also made in the uk, japan, mexico and argentina over the years regards

I bought a Spare clasp for my GMT and I got to wondering! I would never have known the above
