Ok, This was has me stumped. Need Help Here
Fo some reason I am unable to tell my friend if this is genuine by looking at the photo he supplied me with. He's been told that the seller has promised more pictures of the dial, date, as well as the papers and box set. Every time the pics are supposed to be sent, the "seller" forgets, or something has happened to the camera, or the iPhone got dropped .... I told my friend to run fromthis transaction.
I think the bezel looks a little off from what I can see, but I'm certainly not saying I'm able to say the watch looks fake or genuine. What I can say is that the seller sure seems a bit shady to me. |

Oh yeah ......... He just recently spent $500 bucks for a complete service from a watchmaker who has a Rolex parts account .... Alarm bells are ringing .... Or that could be my ears .... who knows these days.

Rule #1.... Buy the seller, not the watch. You have already said all that needs saying.

when will these people learn? What is it this time: ebay, craigslist, a pawn shop? Why take the known risks to save a couple of bucks? As far as I'm concerned, someone who buys from those places deserves what he gets. You are a good friend, though. Steer him to one of our dealers.

Likely scenerio:
Photo was taken of a 3rd party's wristshot and the watch has never been in the possession of the so called "seller".... Run away; run away very quickly!!
