My Birth Year 1680

I was recently fortunate enough to score my Birth year 1680 which happens to be 1978. This submariner looks like it just left a A.D's show room. Totally complete with box, papers, and hang tags.

Sad thing is....It's so perfect that I'm scared to wear it ( guess I'm going to have to go on the hunt for a second :) ).

Thanks for looking :)

My SN 5,861,XXX says hi.

My advice: get it properly serviced and wear the darned thing. It was definitely meant to be worn.

Sadly, they did not make 1680's in 1947....

Great watch; enjoy it in good health!

Congrats on a great looking watch. I used to have a similar set. Those old service papers are cool... Impressive that the person servicing the watch put their name on the guarantee. Harold Najarian serviced mine in 1986.
