Fell for another one
I fell for another watch like never before, not a Rolex though but a Blancpain, fell so much for it that I am putting my brand new Daytona rose gold with ceramic bezel and ivory dial on sale, though it is gorgeous and brand new, it's the first time I'm selling watches, usually when I buy they're here to stay, but can't get the Blancpain out of my mind, should have stopped looking on the internet after buying the Daytona.
Of course the Blancpain is much more expensive and can't buy it without selling the Daytona first, and will probably put also my Pam 233K for sale, or add the big difference in cash. Here are pics of the Daytona, for me it's the most beautiful Daytona around, and pics of the Blancpain, what do you think about it? Not meaning should I sell it to buy it, that part's already very clear, just what do you think about both of them and which one do you prefer. Would you do the "trade" or would you prefer to keep the Rolex? |

IMHO keep the Daytona! At least think about it a couple of more weeks before you do anything.

To each its own; if you like the BP, go for it. To me, RG daytona/ceramic is outstanding!

I would rather have the Daytona and the Pam over that BP! Your Daytona is just crazy ridiculous, I say NO!

That Daytona is gorgeous but if you love the BP go for it

Love the Daytona. the Blancpain is too busy for my own taste. Daytona is gorgeous. Trade up to a Platona or keep it.

I wouldn't. I very much like your ceramic Daytona on leather.

No. You have a great watch. The Blancpain although a fine timepiece looks like a jumbled mess ( as always just my opinion brutal as it may sound ).

The BP is nice, but that Daytona+233 is a killer combo in my opinion.

IMHO, it's different style and can't compare. If the BP sings to you, trade it while the Daytona is new. I'm assuming the Daytona don't sing to you anymore.

No it still sings to me but the BP "sings" much more, it's a "complications" watch, alarm, GMT, date, power reserve, and I love the sapphire case back , no comparison with the Daytona which has only time and chrono, I can understand that many don't like the busy dial but I think it looks great in this configuration, black wititherh rose gold components. Anyways as I said I can't buy it without selling the Daytona, it's on sale here, great price compared to the retail price but I don't intend to give it away either |

I would do the trade because you can't get it out of your mind. I would not sell the Pam 233 though, I would just add the cash.

I think you got the answers you expect on a Rolex forum.
That BP makes quite a statement but struggles against that particular Rolex Daytona which is one of the nicest looking models that Rolex makes. At the end of it all it is your decision. Enjoy wearing the BP.

I would not do it, no way. Not to mention if you have to put in more cash or give up that Pam in addition to giving up your Daytona.

I love Blancpain watches and typically do not like RG but your Daytona is outstanding. Ultimately go with what speaks to you.

I don't care for the daytona, except the pt version, nor pretty much any panerai. That being said, I still wouldn't trade for that Blancpain. That dial configuration isn't pleasing to my eye.
