If you put the clear case back on an automatic movement watch, the oscillating weight can cover up about 40% of the viewable area.
However, a slight turn of the watch allows the weight to rotate and expose more of the beautiful movement. A small price to pay for increasing the pleasure a watch can bring; some much more than "what time is it" !
