Candy Crush:
Hi all, for fun, wasting time and recreation is anyone out there playing the computer game Candy Crush. You can download it for free onto desktops, notebooks, mobile phones and tablets. It is a lot of fun, challenging and I know the Levels go up over 100(I have a friend on Level 106). From what I have heard it is very popular and people are even networking with each other to share and learn the tricks and also if you want, to boast about what Level you have obtained. If you want to play a fun game.....this is right up your alley.
Check it out!!!

Currently on level 350 after ca. 1 year. Have never paid a cent to finish levels and look forward to finishing it at some point. There are some horrific levels out there!

Everyone is playing this Leo, it seems. Had a quick go myself, couldn't see much appeal although I have the attention span of a gnat.

It's a love / hate kind of game that I'm obsessed in play while traveling. I'm only on level 35 but have not paid a cent to progress.

It has become a sensation and propelled Saga into an IPO a while back. I'd just suggest anyone be careful since some folks have "cloned" the App and these clones have adware and sometimes malware.
While not inherently malicious, adware can be abused by developers for their own gains. Adware also collects information about the user. Usually the clones with malware are taken down by admins hosting the servers but sometimes users don't know until it's too late.

I too have not paid for any assistance and just wait out the time before I get more lives. I also refuse to spend money for more items, short cuts or little helpers, go to FaceTime(never joined)to boast or for help or call a friend to find out how to do something. I learn by "trial and error" and for me it's more fun this way but I'm sure the developers are making a "Boat load" of money by getting people to pay for these 'add ons'!!!

I see people playing it all the time on the subway here in NYC but I have yet to download. I will have to give it a try.

I have always enjoyed these types of games for passing time, back in the Late-Seventies into the Early-Eighties some of my previous favorites: from coin operated video games, Space Invaders, Ms. Pacman, Centipede and of course Asteroids(all the different generations of it); and from your desktop, cell phone or Tablet, Doom(DeskTop or Laptop-only), Sonic the HedgeHog and of course who can forget...the Mario Brother's and their many different games. I remember my In-Laws, being very progressive back in the mid-seventies purchasing and Apple II-e when it first came out. And do y'all remember the first video game system to hook up to your TV also back in the Mid-Seventies, called Pong??? Or am I dating myself
