Worth adding sub Lvc + $3,500 for a black SS Daytona?

Trading my Lvc random serial plus $3,500 for a black SS Daytona V serial?

I've had the LVC, and I have a white dial Daytona. I would do that trade in a second.

The trade makes sense financially, but I would not do it. I find the Daytona to wear a bit small and just tend to prefer the Submariner.

I would not. I love the Daytona, but I would prefer having a Sub and a Daytona.

I say nay. If you are going to add $3500 just save up and pay for the Daytona in cash. The sub is a classic piece and you may regret it in the near future. I speak from experience

V serial - maybe $2.5-3K on top, not $3.5K.

Would also hold onto LV as more everyday and Daytona for weekend duty

Not for me; I'm not enthralled by the Daytonas a Day Date would be a different story altogether.

I wouldn't make the trade for a v serial Daytona, at least not $3500 on top of the sub LVc. I personally prefer subs over a SS Daytona.

Well I had both the Daytona and the LVC got rid of the LVC and had to get it back, the Daytona I traded it for the WG...and it to didn't stay around for long I just couldn't bond with it, not sure why, I think the shiny bezel just didn't do it for me...good luck with your decision.

I would not do it, I have had the SS daytona about 5 times, and sold it, the LV C is a keeper and more interesting watch. The daytnona I got bored of the only time it is an interesting watch is when it is in precious metal.

I wouldn't, but I'm not a fan of the Daytona in steel or TT.

But if you like the Daytona over the sub you should do it

$$$-wise, that trade seems like a loser. The rest is personal taste. I would never give up an LVc for a Daytona, though I would love to add one.
