Can someone recommend a good free media player similar to Winamp?

Winamp recently stopped development and support of the player and for some reason my installed Winamp player is crashing.

I've lost money to two media players that have gone out of business, so if WMP won't do it, I'm not interested.

I buy my own music and don't bother with streaming, radio, commercial or subscription.

For me, it works better that way.

I use Foobar
http://www.foobar2000.org/

Unlike iTunes it allows FLAC files to be used which is a nice easy Lossless format.
